Up for sale is a matched pair (2 pieces) of rare vintage WWII WWII-era RCA-JAN 6SG7 / VT-211 high-frequency pentode vacuum tubes, brand new in their original US Army military boxes. Manufactured in the USA by RCA, these ruggedized military-spec valves feature durable black metal envelope construction and date codes H1 and H3E. Highly regarded for their exceptional RF/IF amplification, low noise, and effective electrostatic shielding.
As shown, both tubes have been thoroughly tested on a professional AVO Type 160 tube tester. Anode current (Ia) and mutual conductance (mA/V) measurements alongside percentage performance ratings relative to nominal specs are detailed in the table below.
