Offered for sale is a world-class vintage Amperex 12AX7 / ECC83, produced at the famous Heerlen factory in Holland. This unit features a Top Ring Getter and the hallmark clarity and open soundstage that Dutch-made Amperex valves are legendary for. It is an ideal upgrade for any high-end audio preamplifier.
Tested on the Amplitrex AT1000 digital laboratory tester, the results below are provided using the Percentage Method against original factory design-center specifications (Ip = 1.2 mA / Gm = 1600 µMhos). This tube shows excellent transconductance levels, exceeding 100% on both triode sections.
