Up for sale is a closely matched quad (4 Pcs) of vintage NOS Philips Miniwatt EL84 / 6BQ5 power pentodes, complete in white boxes. Manufactured in Holland, these highly coveted valves feature early-production long gray plates and a top ring getter. Legendary among audiophiles and guitar amplifier enthusiasts, Dutch-made EL84s are world-renowned for their rich harmonic distortion, deep tight bass, and musical, detailed high frequency extension.
As shown, all four tubes have been thoroughly tested on an Amplitrex AT1000 digital tube tester. Plate current (Ip) and transconductance (uMhos) measurements alongside percentage performance ratings relative to nominal factory specs are detailed in the table below.
