Up for sale is a single (1 Pc) highly collectible vintage NOS RCA 12AT7 / ECC81 dual triode vacuum tube, complete in its original RCA box. Manufactured in the USA, this early-production valve features coveted black plate and a square getter. Famous for its warm tonal signature, expansive soundstage, tight dynamic punch, and exceptionally quiet background noise, making it a prime upgrade for high-end audio preamplifiers and vintage guitar amps.
This tube has been tested on an Amplitrex AT1000 automated valve tester at nominal factory specs. Anode current (Ip) and Mutual Conductance (uMhos) measurements alongside percentage performance ratings relative to standard specs are detailed in the table below.
