Available now is a pair (2 Pcs) of Bharat Electronics Ltd. (BEL) PCL86 triode-pentodes, Made in India. These are 14V heater versions, functionally equivalent to the 14GW8, and are preserved in their Original Boxes in true NOS condition.

Technical features include the high-performance Top Ring Getter and robust Grey Plate construction. BEL was founded with technical assistance from Philips, ensuring these valves meet world-class European quality standards.

The PCL86 (equivalent to 14GW8) is a triode-pentode combination tube, very similar to the more common ECL86/6GW8 but with a 14V heater (instead of 6.3V). It was commonly used in AC/DC radios, television sets, and compact audio amplifiers. BEL tubes were made using Philips/Mullard technology and tooling. Many enthusiasts appreciate their build quality and sound characteristics.
