Up for sale is a matched pair (2 pcs) of genuine vintage NOS GE (General Electric) 6SJ7 sharp-cutoff pentode vacuum tubes, manufactured in the USA and complete with their original GE orange/black boxes. Engineered with durable black metal envelope construction providing complete 360-degree RF and electro-magnetic shielding, these classic American pentodes are renowned for their whisper-quiet background noise, linear gain, and long service life. An ideal replacement pair for vintage tube preamplifiers, microphone preamps, and classic instrument amplifiers requiring 6SJ7 / 6SJ7GT / 5693 series tubes.
Both tubes have been fully tested on a precision Amplitrex AT1000 tube tester. Measured Plate Current (Ip in mA) and Mutual Conductance (uMhos) alongside percentage performance ratings relative to nominal factory reference specs (Reference: 3.0 mA / 1,600 uMhos) are detailed in the table below.
