Up for sale is a quad set of 4 vintage GEC 6080 / CV5008 dual power triode valves, brand new in white boxes. Highly revered in the high-end audiophile world, these ultra-premium British power tubes feature rugged metal base, low-microphonic triple mica construction, deep black plates, and rare top double square getters.
As shown in all four tubes Serial Nos. 343001, 343002, 343005, and 343006 have been bench-tested on our laboratory-grade Amplitrex AT1000 digital tube testing system. The measured plate current (Ip) and transconductance (Gm) results are calculated against standard factory specifications (100 mA / 5800 uMhos) and detailed in the table below.
