Up for sale is a matched pair (2 pieces) of vintage Joint Army-Navy GE JAN-6V6GT beam power pentode vacuum tubes, brand new in their original boxes. Made in the USA by General Electric, these robust military-spec tubes feature iconic grey round plates, coin bases, crisp green printing, and top ring getters. Renowned in both audio amplifier and guitar amplifier circles for their warm mid-range, rich harmonics, tight bass response, and outstanding durability.
As shown, both tubes have been thoroughly tested on our laboratory-grade Amplitrex AT1000 tube tester. Plate current (Ip) and mutual conductance (uMhos) measurements alongside percentage performance ratings relative to nominal specs are detailed in the table below.
