Available here is a precision-matched pair of Mullard M8162 valves. These are high-reliability, military-grade versions of the 12AT7WA/ECC81, manufactured to much stricter tolerances than standard commercial variants. Featuring Grey Plates and Top Ring Getters, they are ideal for high-end phono stages and preamplifiers.
Testing was performed on the industry-standard Amplitrex AT1000. The data below is presented using the Percentage Method, comparing the actual results against the nominal factory specifications for a new tube (Ip = 10.0mA / Gm = 5500 µMhos).
