Presented for sale is an exceptional matched quad of vintage Mullard ECC82 (12AU7) tubes. These are the highly desirable Black Plate versions manufactured in Great Britain. Known for their incredible harmonic richness and deep, dimensional soundstage, these early Mullards are considered by many to be the finest 12AU7 variants ever produced.
This quad has been meticulously screened on the Amplitrex AT1000 digital laboratory tester. The results follow the Percentage Method against original factory design-center specifications (Ip = 10.5 mA / Gm = 2200 µMhos). With tight matching across all eight triode sections, this quad is ideal for high-end stereo power amplifiers or balanced preamplifier stages.
