The GEC CV6 is a robust military-grade triode, manufactured in the 1940s during WWII. It is equivalent to the 6J5 and represents “half of a 6SN7GT”. This matched pair features the specialized Black Round Crimped Plate construction with Round Micas, Round Wire, and Inverted Round Cup Getters. When used with a converter adapter, two CV6 tubes function as a single 6SN7GT.
