Up for sale is a matched pair (2 pcs) of genuine vintage NOS RCA 6C8G dual triode vacuum tubes, manufactured in the USA and supplied in their original GVT boxes. These gorgeous ST-shape (Cobra) glass tubes feature heavy-duty black plate structures, sturdy black octal bases, and distinct bottom square getter rings. The 6C8G is highly prized by audiophiles and vintage builders for its superb linearity, rich harmonic texture, and exceptional performance in classic audio preamplifiers and vintage radio circuits.
Both tubes have been fully tested on a precision Amplitrex AT1000 tube tester. Measured Plate Current (Ip in mA) and Mutual Conductance (uMhos) alongside percentage performance ratings relative to nominal factory reference specs (Reference: 3.2 mA / 1,600 uMhos) are detailed in the table below.
