Up for sale is a matched pair (2 pcs) of genuine vintage NOS RCA 6SJ7 sharp-cutoff pentode vacuum tubes, manufactured in the USA and complete with their original RCA boxes. Constructed with durable black metal envelopes featuring classic Red lettering, these metal tubes offer full 360-degree electromagnetic and RF shielding for ultra-low noise, minimal microphonics, and exceptional stability. An incredible upgrade or replacement pair for vintage audio preamplifiers, high-end microphone preamps, and classic instrument amplifiers taking 6SJ7 series tubes.
Both tubes have been fully tested on a precision Amplitrex AT1000 tube tester. Measured Plate Current (Ip in mA) and Mutual Conductance (uMhos) alongside percentage performance ratings relative to nominal factory reference specs (Reference: 3.0 mA / 1,600 uMhos) are detailed in the table below.
