Up for sale is a matched quad (4 pcs) of legendary vintage NOS Philips Miniwatt EL84 / 6BQ5 power pentode vacuum tubes, manufactured in Holland and supplied in individual white boxes. Widely regarded as some of the finest EL84s ever produced, these Dutch-made tubes feature long grey plates and top ring getter structures, delivering rich harmonic complexity, luscious midrange magic, and sparkling highs An ultimate upgrade choice for high-end hi-fi stereo amplifiers, vintage radio restorations, and guitar amplifiers requiring EL84 / 6BQ5 series tubes.
All four tubes have been fully tested on a precision Amplitrex AT1000 tube tester. Measured Plate Current (Ip in mA) and Mutual Conductance (uMhos) alongside percentage performance ratings relative to nominal factory reference specs (Reference: 48.0 mA / 11,300 uMhos) are detailed in the table below.
