Up for sale is a single (1 pc) ultra-premium vintage NOS Mullard M8162 / 12AT7WA dual triode vacuum tube, manufactured in Great Britain and supplied in a white box. The M8162 is the military high-grade/special quality version of the 12AT7 / ECC81 family, renowned for its low microphonics, robust construction, rich musical warm midrange, and extended high-frequency extension. This desirable early variation features rare 3-hole plates and a top square getter ring. An ideal upgrade for high-end audio preamplifiers, phase inverters, drivers, and guitar amplifiers requiring 12AT7 / ECC81 / CV4024 / 6201 series tubes.
This tube has been fully tested on a precision Amplitrex AT1000 tube tester.
