Up for sale is a matched pair (2 pcs) of genuine vintage NOS Sylvania 5687 dual triode vacuum tubes, manufactured in the USA and supplied in white boxes. Celebrated by audiophiles for their punchy dynamics, excellent bandwidth, and rich tonal density, these American-made tubes feature grey plates and prominent big ring getter structures. An excellent upgrade choice for high-end audio preamplifiers, driver stages, and headphone amplifiers utilizing 5687 / 5687WA series tubes.
Both tubes have been fully tested on a precision Amplitrex AT1000 tube tester. Measured Plate Current (Ip in mA) and Mutual Conductance (uMhos) alongside percentage performance ratings relative to nominal factory reference specs (Reference: 12.0 mA / 5,400 uMhos) are detailed in the table below.
