Up for sale is a matched pair (2 Pcs) of vintage NOS RCA 5814A premium dual triode audio tubes, complete in their original RCA Radiotron boxes. Made in the USA, these sought-after industrial/military grade 12AU7 equivalents feature iconic black plate construction, triple mica support for low microphonics, and a D getter layout. Highly regarded by audiophiles for their warm tonality, exceptional durability, and rich low-end performance.
Both tubes have been thoroughly tested on an Amplitrex AT1000 automated valve tester at nominal reference operating conditions. Plate Current (Ip) and Transconductance (uMhos) measurements alongside percentage performance ratings relative to standard factory specs are detailed in the table below.
