Up for sale is a matched pair (2 Pcs) of vintage NOS RFT ECC83 / 12AX7 dual triode audio valves, complete in white boxes. Manufactured in East Germany, these classic valves feature compact grey plates and top ring getters. Legendary for their tight, punchy low end, rich midrange, high gain structure, and exceptional durability, making them a top choice for guitar amplifiers and audiophile preamplifiers.
As shown, both tubes have been thoroughly tested on an Amplitrex AT1000 automated tube tester. Anode current ($Ip$) and Mutual Conductance ($\mu\text{Mhos}$) measurements alongside percentage performance ratings relative to nominal factory specs are detailed in the table below.
