Up for sale is a world-class matched quad of Brimar CV4003 vacuum tubes, the ruggedized military version of the 12AU7. These “New Old Stock” units feature the desirable Big Ring Getters and were manufactured in England. Known for their lush midrange and ultra-low noise, these are the ultimate upgrade for any high-end preamplifier or driver stage.
Precision tested on our Amplitrex AT1000 digital laboratory system, the results below utilize the Percentage Method against original factory design-center specifications (Ip = 10.5 mA / Gm = 2200 µMhos). This quad is exceptionally strong, with all sections testing at a high-performance 109% for transconductance.
