Up for sale is a premium matched pair (2 pieces) of vintage Toshiba 5814A vacuum tubes, a ruggedized industrial/military variant of the 12AU7. These tubes feature Triple Mica construction for superior mechanical stability and an “O” Getter. Made in Japan, these tubes are highly regarded for their low noise floor and extreme durability.
Precision tested on our Amplitrex AT1000 digital laboratory system, the results below utilize the Percentage Method against original factory design-center specifications (Ip = 10.5 mA / Gm = 2200 µMhos). Both tubes test extremely strong, with transconductance exceeding 100% factory nominal.
