Up for sale is a classic vintage RCA 9004 (954) acorn-style diode valve. First introduced in the late 1945s to satisfy the demand for higher VHF operations, the acorn form factor drastically minimized interelectrode capacitance, making it a critical component of early high-frequency and military radar receiver systems.

This specific exhibit is in beautiful cosmetic shape and comes New in its Original Box. While the main type designation print has faded over the decades, the distinct vintage manufacturer marking H4E remains perfectly legible on the glass. Physical inspection reveals an indirectly heated cathode design combined with a flat-plate anode featuring a precise central cylindrical bulge layout to house the internal electrode structure.

Physical Dimensions: The delicate glass envelope measures approximately 20 mm in diameter and stands 33 mm tall (excluding the base terminal pins).
